School Cancellations & Late Starts
Public Key Fobs
The public key fobs have been programmed to allow access to our building between the hours of 4:00 to 9:00 PM and 5:00-7:30 AM on Monday thru Friday and 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday and during School Holidays.
Fobs can be tracked to time of use and who used the fob to access the building so please do not loan your fob out to others.
We also ask that those using the free weights in the weight room do so only with another person or spotter present.
***Please note that school activities take precedence when scheduling gym use.
Making Memories at Viborg-Hurley
Yo Ho ~ The Pirates Were in the Building
Yo Ho Me Hearty's! Whalebone has assembled a good looking crew for her next swashbuckling adventure aboard her ship the "SS. Pearl".
Students at Viborg-Hurley elementary had fun celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day today. During the day each grade was visited by our own pirate Whalebone Wanda, who handed out a pirate scarf and goodie bag to everyone. She then lead them on an adventure by taking them into the gym where they participated in such things as flamingo ring toss, shark toss, lost boy target practice, cannonball toss, walking the plank, ring Captain Hook's hook, tick tock croc and several other games. There was a station to get a pirate tatoo. and they also got to dress like a pirate and get their pictures taken. Many came already decked out like their favorite pirate but if not they got to try on some items in our photo booth. A fun time was had by all as you can see by some of our pictures.
We want to send out a big "thank you" to all of our helpers today and our PTO mothers. We could not have done it without all of your help.
Congratulations to our Homecoming Queen, Sydney Novak, and our Homecoming King, Connor Paetow.
